10/10 ways to find stocks before everyone starts talking about them 1) Read the earnings calls of Big Tech (or whichever companies have dominated headlines for a sustained stretch) and find what’s holding back their growth. Then find the companies that supply it. Bonus if only a handful of players dominate that niche. Example: MSFT, AMZN and META all flagged memory chips as their bottleneck months before AI memory stocks had a generational rally. 2) CEOs buying their own stock with their own cash, not shares handed to them as pay. Example: Uber’s CEO and COO just bought a combined $15M of Uber stock. The CEO’s $10M buy was his first open-market purchase since 2022, and he made it with the stock near its lows for the year. Uber is down this year. So why are the two people who see the numbers first buying the dip now? 3) Hedge funds and politicians like Trump buying into a name they’ve never owned before. One buyer is noise. When unrelated people start crowding into the same industry, ask what they’re all seeing. Example: Stanley Druckenmiller bought Nvidia in Q4 2022, a stock he’d never owned and by his own admission didn’t know how to spell. That was one month before ChatGPT launched. The entry was around $15 a share split-adjusted. 4) Stocks trending on social, but read the comments, not the posts. Retail is now around a fifth of US trading volume, so the crowd genuinely moves price. Example: GameStop 2021. Hedge funds had shorted more shares than actually existed. Retail investors on Reddit spotted it, bought together, and forced the shorts to buy back at any price. The stock went up over 1,000% in under a month. The signal wasn’t in a filing. It was in a comment section. 5) Be efficient. Instead of piling through filings and transcripts yourself, Barebone already has all of it cleaned, filtered and summarised in one place. Comment “Guide” and we’ll send you step-by-step instructions on how to use Barebone to find potential 10x ideas.

10 out of 10 ways to find stocks before everyone talks about them, but it gets increasingly more niche.
The title card promises a comprehensive guide to finding undervalued stocks, creating a strong hook for viewers interested in investment strategies.
“10 out of 10 ways to find stocks before everyone talks about them, but it gets increasingly more niche.”
This section explains how to identify bottlenecks from tech CEOs' earnings calls, providing actionable advice by showing real-world examples like Micron and Amazon.
“Read the earnings calls of big tech CEOs and find out what's holding back their growth. Then find the companies supplying what they need. Months before AI memory stocks like Micron had a generational rally. Microsoft, Meta and Amazon already flagged memory as their problem.”
This segment advises on checking insider buying, specifically distinguishing between cash purchases and stock awards to gauge true conviction, a key indicator for investors.
“CEOs buying shares in their own company. Check they are spending their own money rather than getting shares as part of their pay. Spending their own cash signals conviction.”
This part focuses on 'smart money' buys by hedge funds and politicians, like Donald Trump, suggesting that converging interests in an industry indicate hidden opportunities.
“Hedge funds and politicians like Donald Trump have been buying, especially stocks they didn't own before. If different people are moving into the same industry, find out what's attracting them.”
The video explains how to analyze social media mentions for viral stocks, emphasizing looking for disagreement in comments rather than just hype to find early opportunities.
“Stocks getting mentioned more often on social media. But instead of just reading posts, read the comments. If everyone is hyping it up, you might already be late. But if there's a lot of debate, that means there's no consensus view and opportunity might still be there.”
The video concludes by promoting an app, Barebone, to automate the research process, and offers a free guide to those who comment, encouraging engagement and conversion.
“Instead of manually doing all of it yourself, use Barebone to do it for you efficiently. If you want a simple guide showing you how, comment 'GUIDE' and we'll send it to you.”
