There is something to be said that our life reflects what we constantly choose. The majority of us are choosing disconnection. The majority of us are choosing not to be in the world. Then what’s the outcome for us all? I think it’s important to mention that I grew up extremely poor. No one was there to save me, and I carried an enormous amount of trauma that made me believe I didn’t have access to life. But through my healing journey, I began unlocking parts of myself I didn’t know were possible. I realized that life is shaped by what we choose and what we declare we want. I used to think seeing the world was only for those with privilege—until I started declaring that somehow, some way, I would. And in the most unconventional ways, doors began opening to everything I once believed was out of reach. Life provided for me once I became clear how I wanted to spend this one precious life.
