Maybe you're someone who gets super anxious and maybe breathing exercises, progressive muscle relaxation for your body is the thing for you, or a calming mantra that might calm you down before you go out and play. Everything is dependent on you as the individual and what your needs and outcomes are. So if you think there is a one mental skill or one thing that is going to unlock the mentality that you need to play your sport, think again, because it just depends. Focus on the outcome and work back from that.
