So I saw a video last night of Alex Hermozi, basically saying that to survive and get rich in the age of AI, you need to study the porn industry.
If you actually really want to know what the bleeding edge of like what's going to happen with anything is in terms of tech, whatever porn adopts first, eventually makes its way down.
Now, at first, as a recovered gooning addict, I thought, what the fuck?
But then he said these two predictions about how the economy and the world will go in the world of AI, and that's when it all started to click.
So the first prediction that he said was, once AI displaces all the hard work and intelligent labor in terms of jobs, and in terms of businesses, who's actually going to win?
If you and I are both competing in some industry, but we both have access to hyper intelligent AI, who's going to win?
It's the person who takes more risks.
So what does that actually mean?
Every business owner is trying to have a personal brand on social media, and what do you have to do to build a personal brand?
You have to take some sort of social risk of losing your social order to post these kind of videos, which leads me to the second prediction that he had with AI, which is that entertainment as an industry is going to skyrocket.
When everybody's getting their work automated by AI, there's going to be more attention moving towards media in some capacity.
I think there's one action that we as normal people can do.
It's a simple takeaway that I'm having, but I think it's an encouraging one to just create more content and put yourself more out there.
