I'm building an app for a girl again. Two weeks ago, the prettiest girl I've ever seen was at this party my friends were hosting. Yes, this girl. I thought, I should talk to her. How hard could it be? Impossible! Women are scary. Instead, I just awkwardly stared at her the whole night, like a creep. After the party was over, I could not get her out of my head. I fumbled my only chance with my future wife. Until I found her Instagram. Except I don't know how to slide into the DMs. I asked my mom what to do. And she said, 'Do you know anyone who could set you guys up?' And I do. My friend who invited her to the party is literally in a class with her. But, I hate being set up. It's so awkward. Then it hit me. I'm in computer science. I can't talk to girls, but I can build cool shit, sometimes. So, what if I built my very own dating app? I know what you're thinking. 'You suck and I hate you. There are millions of other dating apps. How would this be any different?' I'm glad you asked. Now, here's me and here's mystery girl. I looked it up and apparently the most successful way to date someone is through a friend. But the most common way people date is through apps like Tinder and Hinge, which suck. I'd have to swipe through thousands of scary strangers that probably want to kill me, probably. But Mystery Girl isn't a total stranger. We have a mutual, like my friend who invited her to the party. So, what if we got rid of all the strangers and made our app mutuals only? You can only date your friends and their friends. What could go wrong? Let me know if you like the idea so we can build this together with you, the internet, and hopefully Mystery Girl doesn't see this. That would be embarrassing...

The video starts with a bold, personal, and relatable claim that immediately grabs attention and sets up a comedic premise.
“I'm building an app for a girl again.”
The narrator quickly explains the inciting incident, introducing the 'mystery girl' and his social awkwardness, building an emotional connection with the audience.
“Two weeks ago, the prettiest girl I've ever seen was at this party my friends were hosting. Yes, this girl. I thought, I should talk to her. How hard could it be? Impossible! Women are scary. Instead, I just awkwardly stared at her the whole night, like a creep. After the party was over, I could not get her out of my head. I fumbled my only chance with my future wife. Until I found her Instagram.”
A humorous attempt to interact leads to a realization about his tech skills, setting up the pivot to app development.
“Except I don't know how to slide into the DMs. So, what if I built my very own dating app?”
The dramatic unveiling of the whiteboard and the explanation of his unique dating app concept creates a strong 'aha!' moment.
“I'm glad you asked. You can only date your friends and their friends.”
A direct call to action inviting viewers to collaborate, ending with a self-aware, comedic plea about the 'mystery girl' seeing it.
“What could go wrong? Let me know if you like the idea so we can build this together with you, the internet, and hopefully Mystery Girl doesn't see this. That would be embarrassing...”
