It’s been one year since my encounter with Robin. I don’t often repost videos, but this one meant a lot to me. It is a longer edit of my original video. This encounter resonated with so many people that it became my second most viewed video, with over 40 million views. One year later. Time goes very quickly. Thank you for the continued support of my page!

افتتاحية
Excuse me, sir... my name's Chris, and I think that you have an amazing look. You're a very stylish man.
The unusual approach of approaching a stranger for a portrait immediately captures attention and sets a warm tone.
“Excuse me, sir... I think that you have an amazing look. You're a very stylish man.”
The man's modest reaction and curiosity about the photographer's work establish rapport.
“Well, all these compliments. I'm a portrait photographer... I was wondering if I could take a picture of you? Where do you publish them? I'll show you.”
The conversation deepens, revealing personal insights about age and life lessons.
“What's your name? My name is Robin. You're 88. How does it feel being 88? To try to remain calm...”
The unexpected appearance of the robin adds a touch of charm and serendipity to the interaction.
“It's something that troubles me. Look at that! Yes, look at it!”
Robin shares a poignant regret and offers wisdom on decisiveness.
“Do you have any regret in life? I suppose I do, yes. Not marrying the right girl. To be decisive and go for it.”
The interview concludes with a lighthearted exchange, reinforcing Robin's character.
“If you don't mind me saying... you're still very sharp. I try to be. I do crosswords and... talk to friends and... occasionally write letters.”
The video ends with impactful portraits of Robin and a call to follow the photographer's social media.
