🎥 Corpse Bride (2005) •Corpse Bride follows Victor Van Dort, a shy young man who is arranged to marry Victoria Everglot. Nervous about his wedding vows, Victor goes into a forest to practice them. There, he accidentally places his wedding ring on the skeletal hand of Emily, a mysterious woman who rises from the grave believing Victor has married her. Victor is taken to the Land of the Dead, where he learns Emily’s tragic story. She was murdered by a man who promised to marry her and steal her family’s wealth. Meanwhile, Victor wants to return to Victoria, but Emily has fallen in love with him. When Victor discovers that Victoria is being forced toward another marriage, he must choose between his promise to Emily and his love for Victoria. Eventually, Emily realizes that Victor truly loves Victoria and sacrifices her own happiness to set them free.
